Stephen Curry to Star in New Action Movie: Fast Break & Furious
Hollywood Just Got a Whole Lot Smoother from Deep
In a shocking twist that no one saw coming, NBA superstar Stephen Curry has announced his silver-screen debut as the lead in the upcoming action-packed blockbuster: Fast Break & Furious — a spin-off of the Fast & Furious franchise focused entirely on underground basketball, high-speed chases, and gravity-defying crossovers.
The film, set for a summer 2026 release, pairs Curry with Vin Diesel in what Universal Pictures is calling “the most high-octane basketball movie ever made.” Directed by none other than LeBron James (yes, you read that right — this is entirely made up), the movie will follow a rogue streetball crew who use trick shots and turbo-charged sneakers to pull off heists around the world.
Curry plays “Ace Handles”, a former NBA MVP-turned-secret agent who’s recruited by an underground sports intelligence agency to take down a crime syndicate laundering money through international 3-on-3 tournaments.
In a fake press conference held on the rooftop of Oracle Arena, Curry reportedly said:
“I’ve conquered the hardwood — now it’s time to light up the box office. And yes, I do my own layup stunts.”
Insider leaks (totally fake, of course) suggest the movie features Curry dribbling a flaming basketball across a moving train, outrunning a Lamborghini on foot, and hitting a no-look, full-court shot to defuse a bomb.
The trailer tagline?
“The game just got… turbocharged.”
Stay tuned for more made-up updates, including a rumored cameo from Shaq as “The Dunkfather.”
