The iconic scene of the ‘Devil Wears Prada’

In the video shared by the official ‘Only Murders in the Building’ account on Instagram, Selena Gomez and Meryl Streep appeared to announce the latter’s celebratory return in the upcoming season in the ‘Devil Wears Prada’ style.

Originally performed by the Academy Award-winning actress and Anne Hathaway, where Miranda analyses Andy Sachs about her fashion style. In the scene, Andy tries to answer, but Miranda (in all her sass) cuts her and states that it wasn’t a question – it was a remark.

Selena Gomez stated in Miranda style…

In the aforementioned video captioned, ‘Gird your loins, Meryl is returning for Season 5! That’s all,’ Selena stated in Miranda’s style, “So, you’re returning for season 5…” As a response, Streep innocently in Andy’s style said, “Well, I think that depends on…” Cutting off the 75-year-old actress, the pop star remarked, “No, no, that wasn’t a question,” in an ice-cold manner.

The comments of the users suggested that they were shocked and stunned by the clip, prompting many users to write, “Only Divas in the Building” and to celebrate that Meryl won’t be leaving the building just yet.

For the ‘Devil Wears Prada’ fans, the official sequel ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ is in the making, and will soon be hitting the silver screens on May 1, 2026.
