STATESBORO, GA – Get ready for a celestial journey set to the iconic sounds of one of rock’s greatest bands! The Georgia Southern University Planetarium is hosting a special event, “Best of Led Zeppelin,” offering a unique way to experience their legendary music.
On Thursday, May 1st, and Friday, May 2nd, 2025, the planetarium will present two shows each night at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. This immersive experience will pair classic Led Zeppelin hits with stunning visuals projected onto the full dome, creating a cosmic concert unlike any other.
Planetarium Coordinator Dillon Marcy encourages attendees to “Turn off their brains, and enjoy the spectacle!” Prepare to be swept away by the cosmic light show treatment given to timeless tracks such as:

The recently upgraded planetarium boasts state-of-the-art Digistar 7 software and new projectors, “Luke and Leia,” promising a dazzling and immersive experience for all attendees. With a capacity of 63 seats and wheelchair accessibility, the Math and Physics Building on the Statesboro campus will transform into a haven for music and space enthusiasts alike.
