Rock legends to perform at 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Rock and roll fans attending the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are in for a treat! It has been officially announced that the legendary American heavy metal band Metallica will be performing as part of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts.

Metallica will be headlining the concert on Saturday, December 6th at Etihad Park, which is located at the Yas Marina Circuit. This performance is highly anticipated, marking their first show in Abu Dhabi since 2013. With over 125 million albums sold and numerous accolades, including nine Grammy Awards, Metallica is sure to deliver an unforgettable night for F1 and rock enthusiasts alike, playing iconic hits such as “Master of Puppets” and “Enter Sandman,” as well as tracks from their latest album “72 Seasons.”

They join a star-studded lineup for the after-race entertainment, which already includes global pop superstar Katy Perry, who will headline on Sunday, December 7th after the Grand Prix race, and rising pop sensation Benson Boone, who will kick off the concert series on Thursday, December 4th. The act for Friday, December 5th is yet to be announced, promising even more excitement to come.

Access to these concerts is exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders. There are also opportunities for Golden Circle upgrades for closer access to the performances.

The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 will take place from Thursday, December 4th to Sunday, December 7th at the Yas Marina Circuit. Beyond the thrilling on-track action, attendees can enjoy a variety of entertainment across five Fanzones, featuring live driver interviews, interactive experiences, and diverse culinary options. Your Grand Prix ticket also grants complimentary access to Yas Island’s famous theme parks, including Ferrari World, SeaWorld, Warner Bros. World, and Yas Waterworld, as well as cultural landmarks like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan.
