Organizers have announced a stellar lineup for the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, with rock legends Metallica joining global pop superstar Katy Perry and rising sensation Benson Boone to entertain the crowds at Etihad Park on Yas Island.

Metallica, the iconic heavy metal band with over 125 million albums sold and nine Grammy Awards to their name, will headline the Saturday night concert on December 6th. This performance marks their highly anticipated return to Abu Dhabi since their last show in 2013. Fans can expect a powerful setlist featuring timeless hits like “Enter Sandman” and “Master of Puppets,” alongside tracks from their latest album, “72 Seasons.”

Adding a vibrant pop dimension to the weekend, Katy Perry will take the stage on Sunday, December 7th, following the Grand Prix race. With a string of chart-topping anthems such as “Firework” and “Roar,” and having sold over 70 million records with billions of streams, Perry’s performance is set to be a dazzling finale to the F1 season. This will be her second appearance at an F1 event, having previously performed at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2012, and her Abu Dhabi show is part of her extensive “Lifetimes World Tour.”

Kicking off the four nights of musical entertainment on Thursday, December 4th will be the talented young singer-songwriter Benson Boone. Known for his captivating voice and popular tracks like “Beautiful Things” and “Slow It Down,” Boone’s performance will set the stage for a weekend of high-energy entertainment. The headline act for Friday, December 5th is still under wraps, promising another exciting reveal for fans.

The Yasalam After-Race Concerts are an exclusive perk for ticket holders of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which takes place from Thursday, December 4th to Sunday, December 7th at the Yas Marina Circuit. Located on Yas Island, Etihad Park is the region’s largest outdoor venue, capable of hosting up to 40,000 spectators. For those seeking an even closer experience to their favorite artists, Golden Circle upgrades are available, offering priority access to the front of the stage.

Beyond the thrilling on-track action and the spectacular concerts, attendees can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Five dedicated Fanzones will offer a wide array of entertainment, including live driver interviews, interactive experiences, and diverse culinary options. Moreover, Grand Prix ticket holders will enjoy complimentary access to Yas Island’s world-renowned theme parks, such as Ferrari World, SeaWorld, Warner Bros. World, and Yas Waterworld, as well as cultural landmarks like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan, providing a comprehensive and unforgettable experience for all visitors.
