Stephen Curry Signs with NASA to Teach Astronauts How to Shoot in Zero Gravity

In a move no one saw coming—but everyone agrees makes perfect sense—Stephen Curry has officially signed a contract with NASA to become their new “Zero Gravity Shot Specialist.”

According to sources close to the Golden State legend, Curry was invited to a NASA training facility last month to test his shooting skills in a simulated zero-gravity chamber. What began as a friendly demonstration turned into a full-blown recruitment pitch when Curry casually drained 30 consecutive threes—while floating upside down.

“He was just… hovering there,” said astronaut-in-training Karen DeLuca. “Then he spun mid-air, whispered ‘Splash,’ and swished a shot with his eyes closed. We immediately called Houston.”

NASA officials say Curry’s presence is part of a broader initiative to “bring a little swagger to space.” One NASA spokesperson stated, “Sure, landing on Mars is cool, but imagine launching a step-back three on the Moon and yelling ‘LIGHT YEARS!’ That’s the kind of inspiration we need for the next generation.”

Curry, always humble, said the move was about giving back. “I’ve done everything I can on Earth. It’s time to take the game interstellar.”

He also hinted that he might attempt the first-ever galactic buzzer beater during a future mission, though NBA officials remain tight-lipped about how interplanetary stats will be recorded.

Meanwhile, LeBron James is rumored to be in talks with SpaceX.

Stay tuned.
